What it does

• Loads the whole catalogue. Auto-scroll pages through the results until there is nothing left, so you are working with all of an advertiser's ads rather than the first handful.
• Sorts by how long an ad has run. The Ad Library knows every start date. It just will not sort by it.
• Finds the creatives being scaled. Meta reports how many ad sets share each creative. One means they are testing it; several means they are backing it with budget.
• Shows where every ad points, with ad-network redirects labelled as redirects rather than passed off as the destination.
• Exports to CSV — nineteen columns, with long ad IDs intact instead of mangled into scientific notation.
• Downloads creatives in bulk, foldered by advertiser, throttled and cancellable.

What it does not do

AdLib does not put a spend figure on every ad. Meta does not publish spend for commercial ads — it publishes EU and UK reach, one ad at a time. Any spend number is reach multiplied by two guesses, frequency and CPM, and lands in a range about five times wide.

Reach is available on request instead: one ad per second, on your own Facebook session, with a counter and a stop button. Slow on purpose. Firing hundreds of requests at once is how people get their account rate-limited, and it is not our account to spend.
